A cute and unusual necklace, hand made from sterling silver. Axolotls are fascinating creatures. They are juvenile salamanders, that never grow up, and have such happy faces! The shape of the axolotl has been hand pierced from a sheet of sterling silver, and etched with the facial details. It has then been soldered to a square back plate, and two loops soldered to the back for the chain. The necklace has then been oxidised to blacken the etched details.
