A quirky and unusual necklace, based on the old phrase of a 'storm in a teacup'. A teacup has been hand pierced from a sheet of silver, and stamped with a patterned design. The cloud has been cut from silver, and hammered to give a dimpled texture. The lightning bolt has been pierced from brass, and soldered onto the cloud and teacup, and a small raindrop has been added. A hole has then been drilled in the top for a loop for the chain, and the necklace has been oxidised to blacken the stamped pattern.
