Sterling Silver Etched Braille 'Love' Necklace
This unusual necklace has been created with the visually impaired in mind. My Grandparents have both suffered from sight loss and my Grandmother used to love jewellery, but although she could feel it, she always said it wasn't the same as seeing it. This necklace has been designed in memory of her. A rectangle has been cut from a sheet of sterling silver. It has then been etched with the word 'Love' in Braille. The dots are raised so can be felt and read by someone visually impaired. The back of the necklace has been engraved with a translation of the Braille so says 'Love'. Two holes have been drilled for loops which have been attached to a split 18 inch sterling silver chain.
