Sterling Silver Thimble, Cotton Reel and Sewing Pin Necklace MTO
Know someone who loves sewing in your family? Then this necklace makes the perfect gift. Hand made from 100% recycled sterling silver and something to treasure.
The shape of the cotton reel has been hand pierced from a sheet of sterling silver. It has then been drawn and etched with the cotton. The thinmble has also been hand pierced from a sheet of sterling silver and etched. The sewing pin has been made from silver wire which has been balled at one end, however it doesn't have a sharp point! They have all been soldered together and two loops soldered to the back for the chain. The necklace is oxidised to blacken the etched details.
