A one-of-a-kind pair of earrings hand made from an old pair of silver plated sugar tongs. The spoon bowl ends of the tongs have been sawn off, and the handle has been carefully pierced around. A hole has been drilled in the top so they can be attached to silver plated ear wires. The handles feature a soldier and the words Gentlemen in Khaki. This was a term used for British Army servicemen between 1890 and 1990.
